About the Photographer
Rolfe Horn began photographing at an early age and graduated with numerous honors from the Brooks Institute in 1996. In 1998, he began exhibiting at Photography West Gallery in Carmel and that year was also hired as an assistant to Michael Kenna, where he further honed his craft over the next three years. Horn is a darkroom perfectionist and has traveled widely in search of new subject matter. His photographs have been shown in numerous exhibitions and today are included in many private and public collections including the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
